What We Do
Our Swansea day nursery is located in Cwmdu and opened in January 2016 after a 2 year redevelopment of The World Of Play.
We transformed the whole of the first floor, which has previously been used for hosting parties, into a daycare facility for children from 3 months.
Since opening, we have seen the business go from strength to strength, welcoming babies, toddlers and after school children into our fantastic setting! We have recently further developed the setting into a home from home feel where we provide open ended resources to encourage imaginative play through both practitioner led and child led activities.
We pride ourselves on giving a considered personal touch in our service for both the children in our care as well as their parents/caregivers.
We work closely with our CIW inspector to ensure that the highest standard of child care is given without compromising the time spent with the children.
What We Offer
Our nursery has been purpose-built to provide a comfortable, secure, safe space for children. Each room has been created for a different age group, offering them a space dedicated to their unique needs and development level.

Full Day Care
We provide a 12 hour service, 5 days a week, Monday - Friday from 07:30am. We provide full day care, school collection/drop off service, breakfast club, afterschool club & holiday club
Babies
Babies attending our facility will be in the Baby Room up until the age of 2 years. The baby area consists of the Play Room, Sensory Room and Sleeping Area. The babies also have the use of other areas within the nursery during periods when the older children are downstairs.
Toddlers
Toddlers aged +2 will experience a variety of day to day activities specific to their age group. These activities will include; messy play, role play, circle time as well as music and dance.
Breakfast & After School Club
Breakfast Club
7:30am - 8:30am
This service is suitable for parents who need their children taking to school. Children will be given breakfast during their time with us and will have access to the play facilities.
After School
15:00pm - 18:00pm
Our after school club is available to all children in full time school up to the age of 12 years. As well as caring for your child, we also offer the following activities and services;
- Helping with reading and homework
- Art games
- Scientific experiments
- Outdoor activities
- Tea and refreshments
